I sat atop a mountain and watched the world fade to black like the ending of a movie. I sat there with my friend in the Blue Mountains, orange tinges taking over the sky, purple hues filling voids in the land and tinting what were lush green trees. I feel like everything had stopped in that moment. The air in my lungs, the movement of the trees, the roar of the evening bugs, I felt so incredibly small in this world and I smiled. I let out a sigh, the air leaving my lungs for what felt like forever, held my hands up to the view framing it and took an imaginary picture with my hands *click* I turned to my friend "I can't wait to paint this."
