Polar

This beautiful piece was inspired by my studies of frozen tundras. Mixing in colours of the ice as well as the skyline I've tried to capture a look that conveys a feeling of "cold". The picture doesn't capture it, but the white along the bottom of the image is built up in layers giving it a 3D feel as it hovers over the lighter blue below it. The intricate detail of the white can be seen in the accompanying images.
